Where is the Little Train departure point?

All tours depart from the RESALP agency, opposite the Briançon SNCF train station.

How many tours are there?

Le Petit Train offers 3 circuits:

  • The Vauban circuit (with night and winter versions)
  • Street Art tour
  • The Grand Tour of Briançon
Is the Little Train accessible to people with reduced mobility?

Yes, Le Petit Train has PRM access. We advise you to book in advance and to let us know when you make your reservation so that we can prepare for your arrival in the best possible conditions.

Can I buy my tickets online?

Yes, you can book and buy your tickets directly on our website. It's quick, easy and recommended to guarantee your place on board the Petit Train de Briançon. Go to our sales module !

How much does the Little Train cost?
  • Vauban, Nocturne and Winter Tour

Does the Little Train run in winter?

Yes, the Vauban tour is also available in winter. Remember to dress warmly: the tour is outdoors, and temperatures can be low.

Is there parking close to the starting point?

Yes, you can park for free either at the station or in the dirt parking lot next to our agency.

If you're staying in Briançon, don't forget to use public transport to limit your car journeys. More information on monaltigo.fr.

Can the Little Train be privatized?

Yes, you can privatize Le Petit Train for your events (weddings, birthdays, works councils, etc.).
Requests must be made at least one month in advance, subject to availability and outside operating periods.

Does the Little Train run in bad weather?

Yes, the Little Train runs in bad weather. However, in the event of heavy snowfall or extreme weather conditions, traffic may be suspended for safety reasons.

Are dogs allowed on the Little Train?

Dogs are not allowed, with the exception of guide or assistance dogs.

Where can I find out more about the guided tours on offer?

You have three options for obtaining information about our tours:

  1. On our website: find all the information on the tours and timetables pages
  2. In our agency: come and ask our reception team any questions you may have.
  3. At local tourist offices: our flyers are available with all the details you need.
Are there any stops along the way?

There are no stops on the Street Art and Grand Tour de Briançon circuits.
The Vauban tour, on the other hand, includes several stops: Quartier de la Gare, Place de l'Europe and Collégiale.

What are the safety precautions on board the Little Train?
  • Maximum 3 people per seat.
  • Do not take your arms out of the car during the journey.
  • Wait for the train to come to a complete stop before getting off.
  • Do not throw or leave anything on board.
